Understanding Shutter Speed

Shutter Speed is the amount of time that the film stays open. The faster the shutter speed, the less amount of light is let in. So, if you are taking pictures of fast moving things, you want to have a smaller shutter speed. This affects the ISO and the aperture. The aperture needs to be smaller to let more light in and the ISO needs to be higher to let more light in too.
