Sketch Book Cover

The photos that were taken on this sketchbook were from my iPhone, and camera that I would set a timer on. The photos have a unique point of view. One is taken on the ground in the snow and I had balance in it. Everything is nice and even. On the other hand, the rule of thirds is being used in the other one on the upper right corner. The one with my cousin and his ice cream I had everything balanced in the picture. He and his ice cream were centered in the middle. For the picture with my sister and her friend in the bottom right corner, I also tried to have it balanced. These photos mean something to me because they have some of my family and friends in them. Family is a big part of my life because they are the people who are always there for me. My theme that I chose is 'Memories.' When I think of memories, I think of framed pictures in the hallways of someone's house. That hallway is almost like a "Hall of Frames."

Best Photo

This photo that I took is the ceiling of a Mexican restaurant. My family and I went out to dinner and the place looked like it was not being taken care of from the outside. There were vines growing all over the place outside. I thought I would be walking into a run down place. Although, when I walked inside it was beautiful. There was detail in every brick on the wall, there was stained glass tables, and vases with exotic plants in every corner of the room. The ceiling was the best part though. The lights that are seen in the picture are just a portion of what was abundant all over the ceiling of the restaurant. It was almost like a lesson that beauty can be seen on the inside of anything.
